On behalf of the 81 Provincial Governors, I would like to welcome you all to the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) Official Website!

This website is dedicated to promote our pro-active healthy exchange of relevant information and updates in the current health situation in our respective localities and be able to deliver responsive interventions to our constituents.  This platform is very useful and timely in addressing the consequent impact of the COVID-19 pandemic not only on the health concerns but as well as the entire gamut of the people’s lives. This is also designed to mainstream various information and programs from the national government and other development organizations that are beneficial to the empowerment of local government units (LGUs).  

Our Website serves as a forum for discussion and decision-making among Governors and collaboration with other stakeholders for better and effective delivery of basic services.

As leaders, our advocacy towards inclusive, sustainable growth and development of our provinces continues and remains to be one of our major thrusts for the year 2021 and even beyond. It is in this context that we advocate for a greater share of our Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) from the national government generated taxes in order to finance the devolved functions provided by the 1991 Local Government Code (LGC) such as health, agriculture, environment and natural resources, social services, and public works, education, tourism, telecommunication services, housing projects, among others.
